PhenUtest Secures Place on Texas Medical Center Innovation Accelerator

PhenUtest Diagnostics is excited to announce that it has been selected as one of eight UK-based medical device companies to join the second cohort of the Texas Medical Center Innovation Accelerator program, supported by Innovate UK.

Over the six-month programme, PhenUtest will refine its US go-to-market strategy with feedback from expert mentors and access to the wider Texas Medical Center facilities.

PhenUtest is developing a revolutionary urinary tract infection (UTI) diagnostic system that will enable swift UTI diagnosis and provide an antimicrobial susceptibility test (AST) result within 60 minutes. UTIs are commonly seen in clinical practice and affect hundreds of millions of people per year worldwide, of which more than 71% are women.
